Afghanistan Emergency Appeal
“We cannot abandon Afghanistan.”
Shezad Yousaf – Chairman Unite 4 Humanity
The message is clear, through our Afghanistan Emergency Appeal, Unite 4 Humanity will try its best to save as many lives as possible. However, we cannot do this alone. We need your help. Donate a food pack or sponsor a water pump for a poor and needy family in Afghanistan.
Throughout history, the people of Afghanistan have seen numerous wars and internal conflicts. These wars and conflicts have made Afghanistan one of the poorest countries in the world. Right now, over 18 million Afghans are dependant on foreign aid.
Afghanistan Earthquake Appeal
Donate your Sadaqah and Zakat to Afghanistan Earthquake Appeal and help save lives.
Alhamdulillah, Unite 4 Humanity has been on the ground in Afghanistan since 2017. Along with responding to emergencies, we have been helping Afghans come out of poverty. Throughout the year we distribute food packs, build water pumps and help widows and orphans with your Zakat. We distribute Zakat in cash form and the reason for distributing Zakat in cash form is to help people fulfil their daily needs, such as clothing, home improvements, education and other household needs. This also helps contribute to the local economy. Afghanistan is going through a crisis and as Muslims, it is our duty to help our brothers and sisters facing difficulties. Donate to Afghanistan Crisis Appeal and help families affected by poverty and natural disasters.

The worst drought in the known history of Afghanistan
Right now, Afghanistan is facing one of the worst droughts. Crops are dying. Animals are dying. There is not enough food for everyone to eat their stomach full. Millions are going to bed hungry at night. Afghanistan needs rain and needs it now.
Dear brothers and sisters, firstly, make dua for Afghanistan that Allah sent rain on Afghanistan. Rain, which is beneficial for people, animals, and crops. Secondly, donate a part of your hard-earned money for the sake of Allah to help the people of Afghanistan. Donate a food pack, provide cooked meals for poor & needy Afghans or donate your Zakat to help a widow or poor family.
A man asked the Messenger of Allah [SAW]:
“What quality of Islam is best?” He said: “To feed (the poor) and to say the Salam to whomever one knows and whomever one does not know.” Sunan an-Nasa’i
Right now, our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan are in desperate need of food aid. Donate now and help us continue saving lives in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan Winter Appeal
Winter is known for its harshness. Even us, living in comfortable houses with heating, hot water, fridges, and cupboards full of food feel the harshness of winter. Now think about all those Afghan families living in tents and mud houses. This winter, they will have no heating, no hot water, and not enough food to eat. As Muslims, it is our duty to take care of our brothers and sisters in need. Give the gift of a blanket, donate a winter pack for an Afghan family, or help us provide food for an Afghan family this winter.
“He who gives cloth to any destitute Muslim remains in the security of Allah as long as a single piece remains on his body.” Sunan Tirmidhi
Afghanistan Food Appeal
Half of Afghanistan’s population lives in extreme poverty. The country has one of the world’s highest under-five mortality rates. Six out of a hundred newborn children die before their fifth birthday. Most of these deaths are related to malnutrition. Lack of food is Afghanistan’s biggest problem.
In a country where almost half of its population doesn’t know where their next meal is going to come from children will be the biggest sufferer. Due to lack of food children do not grow in proportion to their age thus making them vulnerable to illnesses such as diarrhoea, cholera, and typhoid. Unite 4 Humanity is asking you to help. By simply donating a food pack you could save the life of a family. As Muslims, it is our duty to take care of our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters who are going through hardship in their lives.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“The best of you are those who feed others.” Musnad Aḥmad
Afghanistan Water Appeal
Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.” (Sunan al-Nasā’ī)
Shockingly even in the 21st century, only 27% of Afghans have access to safe drinking water. Less than half the country’s population have access to adequate sanitation facilities. In rural Afghanistan majority of Afghans don’t have access to clean water at all. Water is life but as Muslims water is way more than that. The whole ethos of Islam is connected with water. Water purifies our bodies, it quenches our thirst and provides us energy to worship Allah.
Unite 4 Humanity is on the ground in Afghanistan, we are helping poor & needy families by providing food, clothes and financial assistance with Zakat but one of our key projects where we are focusing the most is to provide clean safe drinking water for as many families as possible. We are building water pumps in Afghanistan. Sponsor a water pump and provide clean safe drinking water to an Afghan family.
