Refugee Crisis Appeal
Everyone deserves dignity, especially those escaping the horrors of war. At Unite 4 Humanity, we prioritise dignity, swiftly providing refugees with food, essential supplies, and a warm welcome they might not find elsewhere upon their arrival in a new land. Stand with us as we bridge hope and urgent care to those in dire need.
The world faces an unprecedented refugee crisis, with countless individuals fleeing war, violence, and persecution. As part of our commitment to aiding those in desperate circumstances, Unite 4 Humanity launched the Refugee Crisis Appeal. Since its inception, we have been working tirelessly to provide essential aid to refugees from various parts of the world, with a particular focus on delivering food, water, and financial support.
Unite 4 Humanity’s Refugee Crisis Appeal
Unite 4 Humanity stands as a beacon of hope for those escaping violence, war, and oppression. We assist all individuals, regardless of their colour, gender, race, or religion. Our commitment is global, and we strive to be present wherever refugees arrive, even in places where their influx can be overwhelming for local communities. Together, let’s create a world where compassion transcends borders.
“And they give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, [saying], ‘We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.’” – Quran 76:8-9
This ayah from the Holy Quran reminds us of our duty to assist those in need, especially in times of crisis. By supporting the Refugee Crisis Appeal, you’re not just donating; you’re fulfilling a higher calling.
Ramadan and Refugees
As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan, let’s remember our brothers and sisters who rely on our generosity. By donating to our Refugee Crisis Appeal, you’re not only providing vital aid but also earning the pleasure of Allah (SWT).
“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”

Facts About Refugees Around the World
In a time when global displacement levels are alarmingly high, it’s important to understand the plights of refugees from key crisis regions. Here are some essential facts:
- Half of the world’s refugees are children.
- In Syria alone, more than 6.8 million people have fled, seeking safety in Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan, and other countries.
- Gaza, despite its small size, has seen thousands displaced due to ongoing conflict.
- The Rohingya crisis led to an exodus of hundreds of thousands to Bangladesh, with over 75,000 children born in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar in recent years.
- Brutal conflicts in Yemen and Afghanistan have also led to the displacement of millions, with many seeking refuge in neighbouring countries.
- In Lebanon, home to over 1 million Syrian refugees, around 70% of these refugees live below the poverty line.
- About 30% of refugees arriving from crisis regions are children. Shockingly, around 25% of these children journey without the company of adults.
