We’re on the ground in Gaza
Over the past week, the situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels. Over 300 people have been killed in airstrikes and attacks on people taking shelter in schools, hospitals, mosques and cafes.
At least 1.9 million people – or about 90 per cent of the population – across the Gaza Strip have been displaced during the war. Many have been displaced repeatedly, some 10 times or more. Since the recent displacement orders were issued, more people have been forced to flee in search of safety. These people have no access to basic essentials like food, water, hygiene, medicine or shelter. Thousands have lost their lives, many while waiting for food or shelter.
Gaza Watch
- Killed: at least 61,709 people, including 17,492 children

Save Lives in Gaza
Gaza Need Food and Clean Drinking Water
Every time conflict escalates, Israel mercilessly bombards Gaza, killing hundreds, making thousands disabled and leaving hundreds of families homeless. The blockade of Gaza by land and sea has severely damaged its economy, pushing nearly the entire population below the poverty line and leaving them heavily reliant on foreign aid.
Alhamdulillah, since 2014, Unite 4 Humanity has been on the ground providing life-saving food aid to the affected. Throughout the year, we also distribute your Sadaqaat & Zakat, in cash form, to help people with their daily needs, such as clothing and other household items. This also helps contribute to the local economy.
Save the Children of Gaza
Gaza is the most populated piece of land on Earth. There is nowhere on earth where that many numbers of people are living in such a confined space.
In a country where the resources are at the brink of finishing, over 50% of its population is under 18. What future do they have? Nothing, as it seems right now. Unless the world takes a stance against the siege, the people of Gaza will continue to suffer from ground, air, and sea.
Gaza needs our support. They need food and financial help, and with Allah’s help, we will provide them with both. Donate your Sadaqah & Zakat and help your brothers and sisters living under siege.
– According to a UNDP analysis, poverty in the Palestinian territory is projected to exceed 74% in 2024, potentially impacting around 4.1 million individuals
– Nearly all Palestinians are heavily dependent on foreign aid from charities like Unite 4 Humanity
– Without food, water, and financial aid (zakat donations) from Islamic charities, the people of Gaza will not survive

Help us save lives in Gaza
Gaza – also known as the open-air prison for over 2 million people.
For decades, people of Gaza in particular and the people of Palestine, in general, have been going through some of the toughest times of their lives. Not many communities have seen such a violation of human rights and treatment of human beings as seen in Gaza. Describing it as apartheid won’t be wrong.
The way the situation is in Gaza, if the world doesn’t take action to improve its condition in the immediate future, then this piece of land will turn into a living graveyard for over 2 million human beings.

Shelling, airstrikes, and bombardment have become the norm for people living on this small piece of land. According to the UN, Gaza will soon be uninhabitable as on-land resources will be consumed by 2 million people living under a continuous siege.

- Nearly the entire population of Gaza is now living below the poverty line, so even affording daily bread is a challenge.
- Without consistent food and financial aid, the very existence of the people in Gaza is at stake.
Support the Gaza Bread Appeal and ensure that the staple food is available to those who need it most. Your contribution can make the difference between a family going to bed hungry or with a full stomach. Stand with Gaza; every bread piece counts.
Gaza Water Appeal
In the densely populated region of Gaza, the quest for clean water has become a dire challenge. The Gaza Water Appeal works to address this critical need, safeguarding families from the perils of polluted supplies.
- Over 90% of the Gaza population relies heavily on external aid, and many are facing severe water scarcity.
- The UN warns that Gaza might soon become uninhabitable due to dwindling on-land resources amidst continuous siege.
Donate to the Gaza Water Appeal, as your donation can provide drinking water tankers and water storage tanks for families in Gaza. Support the Gaza Water Appeal today, and play a pivotal role in quenching the thirst of Gaza’s resilient inhabitants. Stand in solidarity and ensure that no one goes thirsty in Gaza.
Gaza Zakat Appeal
Zakat is more than just an obligation; it’s a demonstration of our faith and compassion. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”
In Gaza, amidst the turmoil and relentless adversities:
- Nearly all of the population lives in extreme poverty, many of whom are widows struggling to provide for their children.
- There are countless orphans, with over 50% of Gaza’s residents under the age of 18, many of whom have lost parents and are in dire need.
By donating to the Gaza Zakat Appeal, you fulfil your sacred duty, supporting widows and orphans in their gravest hours. Offer your Zakat, and be a beacon of hope in their lives. Stand with Gaza and manifest the true essence of Islamic charity.
Gaza Medical Appeal
The people of Gaza are facing a deepening medical crisis. Hospitals are overwhelmed, essential supplies are running out, and thousands are in urgent need of treatment. With limited access to healthcare and infrastructure severely damaged, the situation continues to worsen by the day.
The ongoing bombing campaign has left behind over 42 million tonnes of rubble across Gaza, creating severe environmental and health hazards for the population. Among the debris are destroyed solar panels, which pose a serious risk due to the release of lead and other toxic heavy metals, further threatening public health, especially in areas with limited medical resources.
Through our Gaza Medical Appeal, we provide financial assistance that supports the provision of medical aid for Palestinians. While we do not supply medical care directly, your generous donations help vulnerable families afford medicines, basic treatment, and emergency care when available.
Your support can make the difference between life and death.
Sponsor a Widow in Gaza
In the confined and ever-shrinking borders of Gaza, countless women bear the title of ‘widow’ – a testament to their strength, resilience, and daily struggles. Facing a life overshadowed by the loss of their partners:
- Widows often find themselves as the sole providers, with nearly all of them living in extreme poverty.
- These brave women battle not just grief, but also societal challenges, all while trying to ensure their children don’t go hungry or miss out on basic education.
By choosing to sponsor a Widow in Gaza, you stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these incredible women, providing them a lifeline and restoring their hope for a better future. Reach out, and be the hand that helps them rise against all odds. Your sponsorship can change lives and narratives.
Sponsor an Orphan in Gaza
The tightly packed streets of Gaza teem with the echoing laughter and hopeful eyes of its youngest residents. Yet, many of these innocent souls carry the weight of being orphans.
- A staggering 50% of Gaza’s population is under 18, with countless children bearing the title of ‘orphan’.
Allah says in the Qur’an: “And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive…”
(Surah Al-Insan, 76:8)
By choosing to sponsor an orphan in Gaza, you not only follow a divine command but also light up a young life with hope and dreams. Help these children tread a path filled with security, education, and love. Your gesture can rewrite destinies.
Gaza Winter Appeal
As winter descends upon Gaza, many residents find themselves battling the piercing cold in makeshift tents, metal sheds, and temporary accommodations. These shelters, devoid of proper kitchens, bathrooms, or even insulated rooms, offer little protection against the unforgiving winter winds.
- Shockingly, nearly all of the Palestinians endure such conditions, experiencing the harshness of extreme poverty.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, “The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah’s Cause.”
(Bukhari)
By supporting the Gaza Winter Appeal, you provide more than just warmth; you give the gift of dignity and hope to families in dire need. Let’s help bring comfort to the resilient people of Gaza, making their winters a tad more bearable.
