Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

Tell me more »

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Health Project

Unite 4 Humanity’s Health Project aims to reach every corner of the world that lacks proper medical care. We firmly believe that everyone, no matter where they are, deserves medical attention and access to medicines when they’re sick.

Health isn’t just about feeling good; it’s about leading happier, longer, and more productive lives. And it’s not just about personal well-being—healthy people drive stronger economies.

Unite 4 Humanity’s Health Project

Around 1.2 billion people live on less than a pound a day, a level of extreme poverty. Poverty often means poor health because people can’t afford basics like shelter, clean water, or good sanitation.

Our work spans many countries. We’ve set up projects for clean drinking water and better toilets to prevent water contamination. In many places, sickness comes from not having clean water or safe toilets. We want to first teach people about staying healthy and then about the dangers of poor sanitation and diet.

Medical Fund: A Beacon of Hope in Disaster-Stricken Zones

In numerous parts of our global community, devastating conditions are not just news headlines but everyday realities. Let’s delve into some of these regions:

  • Yemen

Facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, countless people lack basic necessities. Malnutrition is rampant, and a weakened health system struggles to deal with cholera outbreaks and other diseases.

  • Reeling from the effects of wars and a blockade, medical facilities have been heavily damaged, making access to essential drugs severely limited. Frequent power cuts further hinder hospital operations, exacerbating health challenges.

    Gaza

  • Rohingya Refugee Camps

Displaced from their homes, the Rohingya people now live in densely populated camps with limited access to clean water and health services. They’re vulnerable to diseases like diphtheria, measles, and cholera.

  • Ongoing conflicts have ravaged the healthcare system. Many are without regular medical services, while others suffer from war-related injuries and trauma.

    Afghanistan

  • Earthquake Hit Areas

Natural disasters, like earthquakes, not only cause immediate injuries but also result in long-term health issues due to collapsed infrastructure and lack of medical supplies.

  • Floods often contaminate drinking water sources, leading to waterborne diseases. Moreover, they displace communities, making access to medical care even more challenging.

    Flood Affected Areas

Amidst these overwhelming adversities, the Medical Fund is our concerted effort to bring relief. Our Medicine Fund seeks to:

  • Provide Essential Medications

From antibiotics to treat infections to medications for chronic illnesses, we strive to deliver what’s needed most.

  • In areas where health facilities have been damaged or are non-existent, we organise mobile clinics and medical camps.

    Support Medical Services

  • Medical Supplies and Equipment

Beyond medicines, we ensure that necessary medical equipment and supplies reach those in need.

In many of these disaster-hit zones, timely medical intervention can be the thin line between life and death. By contributing to the Medical Fund, you are not just donating medicine, but gifting hope, healing, and a chance at a healthier tomorrow.
