This winter, Gaza faces a crisis unlike any before. Homes have been bombed to rubble. Water is undrinkable. Power lines are down. And families, especially children, are sleeping in freezing tents with nothing but torn clothes.

In August 2025, famine was officially declared in Gaza. This famine isn’t a natural disaster — it is man-made, the result of months of enforced starvation under a brutal blockade.
More than 1.1 million people are now experiencing catastrophic levels of hunger. Entire families surviving on scraps, if anything at all.
At least 2.1 million people across the Gaza Strip have been displaced during the war. Many have been displaced repeatedly, some 10 times or more. Since the recent displacement orders were issued, more people have been forced to flee in search of safety. These people have no access to basic essentials like food, water, hygiene, medicine or shelter. Thousands have lost their lives, many while waiting for food or shelter.
